Event Description

The 2019 NAMM show is one of the largest product trade shows in the world within the music, sound, and event technology industries. For the 13th year in a row, Dunlop and Fuller Street partnered once again to display the highly anticipated new gear for those "who live to play live". One of the best elements of the NAMM Show is the live show experiences and our client wanted to take full advantage of this for 2019. The performances at the Dunlop booth were phenomenal and included artists Mario Camarena and Erick Hansel of Chon, Eric Gales, Robert Randolph, Arthur Menezes, Marcus Miller, and Sithu Aye. These artists came to display Dunlop’s unveiling of new pedals, and updates to existing lines.

Once more Fuller Street participated in creating and designing this year's booth as we work closely with Dunlop to get the look and feel just right. This is the first year we used a chic, all black and red fabric encore velour for the walls of the booth. For the exterior, we brought back two custom 8'H x 6'W clear displays with stained wood slate background walls lined with LED strip lighting to emphasize the products on display. With the stainless steel Dunlop logo overhead, guests were able to engage using two interactive pedal displays connected to two 75-inch screens. Another new addition this year was the request for a social media interaction piece and what better than a colossal 6’H x 4’W Dunlop guitar pick! Guitar enthusiasts and fans loved it. The pick was made out of wood that was cut using a CNC machine. For the foundation, we used a steel rod running through the pick, connecting to a steel base.

You can see in previous years, 2017 and 2018 the design included individual sales offices that occupied the center of the booth, however, our client's objectives had shifted to create a more accessible atmosphere. Our new design included a central space, giving a more "connected feel" for guests to explore with lounge space in front of the stage. With couches, vintage rugs, and a neon sign, it gave the perfect ambiance for an exclusive experience that the crowd loved. The final touches included display cabinets and decor giving the Dunlop reps flexibility to engage with customers at the crossroads where production meets performance.
